ITV’s Trinity is simultaneously the best and worst miniseries ever. There is some astoundingly excellent character development, but the plot is just miserable. Also occasionally I think the writers took an extended holiday and just let the actors improvise the dramatic bits because most of it is horrendous.
But the character development! The young actors on this show are really great. And the costumes/sets are hilarious.
I don’t know I just sat through 6 episodes of it and should really be off to bed.
YES THIS IS HOW I SPEND MY FRIDAY NIGHTS. HAVING MARATHONS OF BRITISH TEEN SOAPS SET IN FICTIONAL UNIVERSITIES WITH A SCIENCE FICTION PLOT WHAT WHERE DID THAT COME FROM CAN WE GET BACK TO THE CHARACTERS PLEASE? JESUS CHRIST WHAT IS THIS DNA SHIT? ARE THEY MAKING STEROIDS? WHAT? OKAY OKAY SO THAT ONE GUY HAS SOME DADDY ISSUES. AND THAT OTHER GUY WAS IN LOVE WITH THE GUY THE DEAN MURDERED. HEY THIS IS ACTUALLY COMPELLING! OH MY GOOD GOD WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? IS THAT AN HOURGLASS BUTT IMPLANT THAT IS MAKING THAT ONE GUY A SUPER-HUMAN? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
